Viola Soper

Viola E. Soper, age 91 of Rogers City, J
passed away July 29, 2014 ;
at Birch Lane AFC Home ws

She was born August 17, 1922 in Rogers City
to Robert and Meta (Hopp) Radke

Viola graduated from Rogers City High School. On June 24, 1944 she
married Ivan Soper in Rogers City. She was employed by the District
Health Department in Rogers City for several years and was a lifelong
member of St. John Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Soper is survived by
2 children, Robert I. Soper of Scottsdale, Arizona and
Jane E. LaLonde of Centreville, Virginia;
5 grandchildren, Scott Roberts, Jennifer Caron, Jennifer (Corey) Curtis,
Katie Ries, and Adam LaLonde;
2 great grandchildren, Nolan and Heidi,

She was preceded in death by her husband Ivan and sister Myrtle Grigg.
Friends may visit at the Beck Funeral Home on Thursday from 4:00 until
7:00 p.m, Visitation will resume on Friday at St. John Lutheran Church
from 10:00 a.m, through time of funeral at 11:00 a.m, with
Pastor Barton Gray officiating.

Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery,
