Wallace Mulka

1927 - 2014

Wallace Joseph Mulka age 87 of Rogers City
passed away November 19, 2014 at
Alpena Regional Medical Center.

He was born July 12, 1927 in Rogers City
to Anthony and Agnes (Jaracz) Mulka.

Wally served in the United States Army during World War II. On May 3,
1958 he married Alice Hein at St. Ignatius Catholic Church. He retired
from Calcite in the early 1990’s as a Lab Tech after 44 years of
employment; he then spent several years working at the Rogers City
County Post. Mr. Mulka was a member of St, Ignatius Church and a
3rd Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, He was an avid
outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Mr. Mulka is survived by:
4 children, John (Barb) Mulka of Williamston,
Kathy (Tim) Lamb of Rogers City,
Kristin Mulka of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and
Joe Mulka of Glenwood Springs, Colorado;
8 grandchildren;
8 great grandchildren;
1 brother, Donald (Virginia) Mulka of Prudenville;
2 sisters, Margaret Gordon and Betty Vogelheim, both of Rogers City.

He was preceded in death by:
wife, Alice in 2006;
daughter, Lori in 1996;
son, Tony in 2011;
7 siblings, Angeline Gordon, Edmund Mulka, Clarence Mulka,
Henry Mulka, Martha Mulka, Carl Mulka and Clara Modrzynski.

Friends may visit at St. Ignatius Catholic Church on Monday from
10:00 a.m. through time of his Memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m. with
Fr, Sylvestre Obwaka officiating. Rogers City VFW Post 607 will accord
military honors following Mass.
